Woman stabs ex-husband ín self-defense and takes selfie making herself look like "a beast"

A woman from Siberia took a smirking selfie after stabbing her ex-husband with a knife. She then shared the selfie with the blood-smeared victim wounded in the background, blatantly stating that this made her look like “a beast.” The couple is identified as 25-year-old Olga and Oleg, her former partner.

The incident unfurled in the Siberian city of Surgut, in Russia, this October, succeeding an intoxicated brawl between the former couple. The ruckus intensified and the alcohol-infused argument led to a point where the situation got out of hand and “the man attempted to strangle” his ex-wife, as per a statement released by the police, as reported by RT. In an effort to defend herself, she grabbed a knife and stabbed him.

The story then diverted its path when instead of seeking help or dialling emergency services, she reached out to take a selfie with the man she just stabbed. She even sent the picture to her friends and folks three hours after the incident. 

Olga shared the picture with a message saying, “Guys, I stabbed my ex-husband with a knife. I was taken to accident and emergency for three hours. And only now have I cleaned up everything. It looks like I am a beast.” 

The woman who has a two-year-old daughter with Oleg, stabbed him somewhere around his abdomen, wounding him severely. The picture shared depicts Olga posing straight towards the camera in a red T-shirt, standing next to a pool of blood and the man cornered in the room, blood-stained. She even took a solo picture of the man who was evidently consumed in pain.   

Olga was then arrested on the grounds of "exceeding justifiable self-defense” but was eventually released. In order to take care of her daughter, she has signed a note that states that she is not permitted to leave her residence. The father of her child has had to undergo an emergency surgery to treat his wound and is reportedly recovering.
