Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's reacted to Ukraine winning the Eurovision 2022 and shared a note that read-

"Our courage impresses the world, our music conquers Europe! Next year, Ukraine will host Eurovision! For the third time in its history. And I believe - not for the last time. We will make sure that one day we will host the participants and guests of Eurovision in a Ukrainian Mariupol. Free, peaceful, restored! Thank you for the victory, Kalush Orchestra and everyone who voted for us! I am sure our winning chord in the battle with the enemy is not far away. Glory to Ukraine!"

Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest in the early hours of Sunday in a clear show of popular support for the war-ravaged nation that went beyond music.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomed the victory, Ukraine's third since its 2003 Eurovision debut.

In a Facebook post, he said Ukraine would "make sure that one day we will host the participants and guests of Eurovision in a Ukrainian Mariupol". "I am sure our winning chord in the battle with the enemy is not far away," he added.
