Peskov: Russia will search for alleged PoW killers

A spokesperson for the Russian president said Monday Russia will search for those who allegedly killed Russian prisoners of war.

A spokesperson for the Russian president said Monday Russia will search for those who allegedly killed Russian prisoners of war.

"Russia will do everything possible within the framework of international mechanisms in order to draw attention to this crime and call to order, to the law those who may be involved in it," Dmitry Peskov said during a regular briefing.

"They must be found and punished," he added.

Peskov also advised that achieving the "goals" of the special military operations in Ukraine could could take a different "format."

"Russia is striving to achieve its goals of the special military operation. These goals can be achieved in different ways and in different formats," he said.
