Border residents in Northern Ireland gathered Friday morning to unveil a new anti-Brexit poster as the UK exits the EU and begins the second phase of negotiations which will determine the relationship between the two sides.

"Today is certainly not a day of celebration or delight, as it seems to be in Westminster for many, but certainly not that for us, the people who live along the border here," said Declan Fearon, the Chairman of Border Communities Against Brexit.

At the UK's only land border, local residents who had fought against a hard Brexit for three years are grateful a physical border was not reinstated but warned that without an agreement this year, a hard border is still possible.
