Charlotte Charles and Tim Dunn, parents of a British motorcyclist killed in an accident, Harry Dunn announced on October 29 that they are planning to sue the Trump administration. They have accused the Trump administration for allegedly covering up for the wife of an American diplomat, Anne Sacoolas who led to his death in a road accident. The 19-year-old British motorcyclist died on August 27 when his motorbike and a car driving on the wrong side of the road collided. Sacoolas admitted the fact that she was driving the car in August which led to the accident in a statement issued through her lawyers. Yet she left the UK claiming diplomatic immunity before she was interviewed by police. Though the deceased's parents urged US President Donald Trump's administration to extradite Sacoolas to Britain, it seems they have been providing her protection, they allege.

Family spokesman Radd Seiger informed the media that they are bringing claims against both Mrs. Sacoolas in the USA for civil damages as well as the Trump administration for their lawless misconduct and attempt to cover that up. The spokesperson further alleged that the US administration is hellbent on breaking international laws, rules, and conventions on diplomatic immunity but doesn't care for the welfare of Harry's family.

Trump called the crash "terrible"

As per reports, the accident occurred near a British airbase used by the US military as a communications hub and where Sacoolas's husband was stationed. With Sacoolas' extradition tensions between London and Washington has increased. Dunn's parents went to Washinton on October 15 and have termed the visit welcoming. Yet, the White House's attempts to make them meet Sacoolas agitated them.

On the other hand, Trump has called the crash a terrible accident.

Deceased's family has sued both US & UK administration

The deceased's father Tim Dunn told the media that he was disgusted and appalled by Saccolas' behaviour. He said that he is angry that she could just get on a plane and leave Britain. The family has already filed a lawsuit against the British Government for letting Anne leave the UK. Following this, UK police in a statement said that UK investigators will go to the US to interrogate Sacoolas.
