Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi and U.S. President Joe Biden held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Group of Seven summit in England on Saturday.

The two leaders met in Carbis Bay and discussed their COVID-19 vaccines and relations with China.

The G-7 leaders -- the U.S., Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Italy - also hope three days of meetings at a seaside resort in southwestern England will help energise the global economy and sharpen a focus on combating climate change.

The leaders were slated to attend a barbecue on Saturday evening and listen to sea shanties.
