Johnson and Starmer clash on COVID strategy

The leader of the opposition Labour Party in Britain accused on Wednesday the Prime Minister of having no exit strategy for areas of the country placed into Tier 3, the highest COVID alert level, urging him to impose a circuit-breaker from Friday to stem the spread of the new coronavirus

Boris Johnson in turn accused Keir Starmer of wanting to "turn the lights out" on the country with another national lockdown with damaging effects on the economy and people's mental health.
