Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Instagram Account Has Broken A Record In Less Than Six Hours, Here's What It Is

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their Instagram debut on Wednesday, April 3.

Britain's royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle broke a record by reaching one million followers on their new Instagram profile in less than six hours. The same was confirmed by Guinness World Records. 

The official Twitter profile of Guinness World Records hit out a tweet which said, "Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whose new @instagram account sussexroyal reached one million followers in less than 6 hours"

The Instagram account of the royals is called 'sussexroyal' and till now they have two posts. One featuring a monogram symbol with their names, and the other one which is a series of pictures that show Prince Harry interacting with children, families and young adults at YMCA England.

 The Instagram handle will reportedly keep fans updated with the day to day activities of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and currently has 3.5 million followers. 

Prior to this, the Royals also beat a record held by South Korean K-pop singer Kang Daniel who achieved 1 million followers in 11 hours and 36 minutes.

Meanwhile, the couple is expecting their first baby in the upcoming weeks.
