Britain's foreign secretary Dominic Raab on Wednesday accused the European Union of behaving like "less democratic regimes" after the bloc's chief appeared to suggest that vaccine exports to the U.K. could be halted.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen earlier suggested exports could be stopped to countries that were producing jabs but not exporting to the EU, or that had higher vaccination rates than the bloc.

Raab also expressed concerns over China's "erosion" of its one country, two systems policy with Hong Kong.
