UK's Raab on nuclear review, China, UK police action

Britain's Foreign Secretary said it was important to maintain a "minimum credible level of deterrent" as he stood by plans to raise the cap on Britain's stockpile of nuclear warheads in a review of defence and foreign policy due to be published Tuesday.

Britain's Foreign Secretary said it was important to maintain a "minimum credible level of deterrent" as he stood by plans to raise the cap on Britain's stockpile of nuclear warheads in a review of defence and foreign policy due to be published Tuesday.

Dominic Raab told Sky News that represented the "ultimate insurance policy" against threats from hostile states.

Raab also commented on various other issues from relationships with China, to restrictions on protests in the wake of the controversy surrounding policing at a vigil for a woman killed after being abducted while walking home at night in London.
