Boo!

This is definitely not something air hostesses usually say to their passengers.

But this did not stop an American air hostess on Monday, who hid in the overhead cabin to surprise passengers flying on a Southwest Airlines travelling from Nashville to Atlanta, as per international reports.

One of the passengers has shared a photo of the hiding air hostess, shows the crew member crouched in the tight space waiting to shock unsuspecting travellers as they stow away their luggage in the overhead cabin.

Is that a fly stuck in US President Donald Trump's infamous hair?

According to passengers on the flight, the crew member was up in the overhead cabin for about five minutes. After more than half the flight was boarded, she reportedly got down. Passengers were amused by her bizarre welcome.

Following this hilarious welcome given by the crew, Southwest Airlines released a  statement explaining that their employees were known for their humour, adding that safety was their highest priority.

"Southwest employees are known for demonstrating their sense of humor and unique personalities. In this particular case, the flight attendant 'attempted to have a brief moment of fun with customers during boarding. Of course, this is not our normal procedure, and Southwest crews always maintain safety as their top priority," said the statement.
