Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden criticized the Trump administration's handling of the coronavirus stimulus bill, during a visit to Pennsylvania on Thursday. Biden told Scranton, Pennsylvania TV station WNEP that small businesses are closing because the stimulus bill isn't sending funds where they were supposed to go.

"They shouldn't be closing in the first place. The stimulus money, almost two trillion dollars that got approved by Congress, they had an Inspector General written in, saying they had to watch where the money went. It was supposed to go to small businesses. Small businesses to keep Main Street open. And it didn't. Significant amounts of money went to the very very wealthy and big corporations."

Biden said fracking, a method used to extract oil and natural gas from the ground, is not on the "chopping block." Many environmentalists want fracking banned.

The former Vice President said he would double a tax on profits made overseas by US corporations. Biden said US companies that move their operations out of the country get a tax break on their overseas profits. He said raising this tax would keep jobs from leaving the US.
