Based on the fresh line of sexual assault accusations from his time at Yale University along with the previous year's accusation from his high school years, several Democratic Presidential Candidates have called for the impeachment of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh on September 16. Last October, there were emotional hearings in the Senate which confirmed Kavanaugh's involvement in a sexual assault in his high school. A New York Publication now reports that Kavanaugh faced a separate allegation at Yale which hasn't been investigated by FBI.

As per the reports, Kavanaugh's Yale classmate Deborah Ramirez claimed that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her during a drunken party. Yet Kavanaugh had denied all allegations of impropriety while testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee last year.

The call for impeachment

Currently, Democrats control the House, which holds the power of impeachment. But it won't be easy to impeach Kavanaugh as Republicans have a majority at the White House. Still a long line of Democrats and politicians across the United States have a unified take on Kavanaugh. They wish for his impeachment.

Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., said that Kavanaugh has lied to the Senate and America and so he must be impeached. Another Presidential Candidate and Harris's rival from Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, tweeted that the new revelations were disturbing and like the man who appointed him (Trump), Kavanaugh should be impeached. Similarly, Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke said in a tweet that it is known that Kavanaugh lied under oath. He further accused that the FBI is being rushed to save the Republican Party's wrongdoings.

Trump backs Kavanaugh

Even during the allegations in October 2018, Trump backed Kavanaugh. The US President had fiercely defended Kavanaugh during his contentious confirmation process. According to Trump, the latest allegation on the Supreme Court Justice are all "lies". In a tweet Sunday, Trump wrote that Kavanaugh should start suing people for libel, or the Justice Department should come to his rescue.

Trump claimed that they were false Accusations without recrimination and that the accusers were seeking to influence Kavanaugh’s opinions on the bench. Trump also called the accusations by Democrats to be made up stories. Attacking the media again, Trump called the media report fake and corrupt.
