Jermaine, a 7-year-old boy from Florida, U.S.A., saved money over the past one year for a birthday trip to Disneyland. However, the little boy’s plans were interrupted when Hurricane Dorian hit South Carolina. The boy then decided to ditch his dream visit to Disneyland and instead donated all his savings for the victims of the Hurricane to buy food, chips and water for evacuees in his state. 

Boy Donates his savings to Hurricane Victims 

Instead of Disneyland, the boy asked his parents to take him to South Carolina on Labour Day weekend, a news channel reported. "The people that are travelling to go to other places, I wanted them to have some food to eat, so they can enjoy the ride to the place that they're going to stay at," Jermaine said in an interview. Jermaine reportedly served food to more than 100 evacuees.

Jermaine receives a surprise from Disney  

The Disney officials then took notice of the incident and decided to surprise the little generous boy for his gesture. Disney offered the boy a free trip to Disney World in Buena Vista Florida. A group of people dressed as Disney Characters visited the boy at his Jacksonville residence on his birthday and told him that he and his family are being given a free VIP vacation to Disney World, Florida. The video of Jermaine being surprised quickly went viral and garnered more than 2,00,000 views.

Jermaine's message to all of us 

When asked to give a message, Jermaine reminded people to be generous and have a giving spirit. The little boy tells us to “Be strong, and if you do good things you will be rewarded.” Talking about his son to a news publication, Jermaine’s mother says that he has a big heart and caring spirit. Jermaine's spirits are being applauded all over the social media and he has been receiving many messages and birthday wishes from people all around the world.
