Donald Trump sparks a meme fest after referring to Prince Charles as the ‘Prince of Whales’

USA President Donald Trump’s grouse against ‘fake news’ is well-known, but his gaffe in highlighting another such attempt gave an opportunity for the meme brigade once again to show their creative skills. The President termed Prince Charles as the ‘Prince of Whales’ instead of Wales and that definitely created a splash on Twitter.

Trump wrote: ‘I meet and talk to “foreign governments” every day. ‘I just met with the Queen of England (UK), the Prince of Whales, the PM of the United Kingdom, the PM of Ireland, the President of France and the President of Poland. ‘We talked about “Everything!” ‘Should I immediately call the FBI about these calls and meetings? How ridiculous! 

‘I would never be trusted again. With that being said, my full answer is rarely played by the Fake News Media. They purposely leave out the part that matters.’

The President’s response was to reportage of his recent interview where he appeared to state that he’d wouldn’t necessarily report to the FBI any damaging information about his political rival, even if it came from a foreign leader.
