Felicity Huffman was spotted wearing a green prison uniform during her official family visiting day, on Saturday at California's FCI Dublin. She was seen wearing a dark green jumpsuit as she walked outside to greet her husband, William H Macy, and daughter, Sophia, who had come all the way to Dublin to the prison to see her.

Keeping her prison look smart

According to reports, Huffman kept her outfit smart, pairing the prison uniform with black and white Under Armour sneakers, a black wristwatch and glasses and had her hair tucked up under a white cap as she stepped out to meet her family. In the pictures taken before the meet, Huffman was smiling and was not accompanied by the prison guards.

What landed her behind the bars

Huffman reported to the Federal Correctional Institution, the minimum-security women's prison known to locals as 'Club Fed' in Dublin, California, on Tuesday where she is serving a 14-day sentence for her role in the college admissions scandal. Earlier this year, she was found guilty for having paid admissions consultant Rick Singer $15,000 to forge SAT answers for her now 19-year-old daughter, Sophia.

She also has to pay $30,000 fine and perform 250 hours of community service. Huffman’s lawyer Martin Murphy argued that her crimes were less serious than those of her co-defendants and noted that she did not enlist her daughter in the scheme. The actress said her daughter was unaware of the arrangement. The scandal exposed the lengths to which parents will go to get their children into the “right” schools and reinforced suspicions that the college admissions process is slanted toward the rich.

However, Huffman’s husband, actor William H Macy, was not charged. While Huffman was sentenced for 14 days, jail records indicates that she will be released after 13 days on October 27.
