On Saturday, September 1, former President of the United States of America, Barack Obama and former First Lady of the United States of America, Michelle Obama attended the memorial service of former US Senator John McCain along with the 43rd President of the United States of America, George W. Bush and his family. A heartwarming gesture made by Bush towards Michelle Obama has won the hearts of the netizens. As per reports, former President Bush was seen passing candies to Michelle Obama during Senator Joe Lieberman's speech at the memorial service. The heartfelt gesture was captured by the several cameras and the clips have now gone viral on the internet. In the video, as Lieberman continued his speech about the importance of reaching across political lines, Bush was seen handing over the candy to Michelle Obama. Accepting the candies, Michelle lipped thank you in response.

On political grounds, the Obama and Bush family are completely diverse to each other. While Barack Obama is a Democrat leader, George W. Bush has been a Republican President of the US. However, both the former US Presidents have reportedly shared a very close bond and the incident at the former Senator John McCain's memorial service has just confirmed the news. A week after Senator John McCain's death, over 2000 people, including several prominent businessmen, political figures, media personalities, and army men gathered at the Washington National Cathedral to attend a memorial ceremony. McCain died on August 25 at the age of 81 after struggling with brain cancer for years. Five days after the formal funeral ceremony, the memorial service on Saturday, September 1, was organized for the politicians and citizens to remember the late politician and celebrate his six-term journey with eulogies and hymns in the heart of the nation's capital.
