The Goodyear Blimp is going to be available on Airbnb for three different one-night stays in the month of October 2019. The Goodyear blimp, which is commonly seen during live sporting events is now giving a chance to the people to spend the night inside it. The offer is available as a promotion to mark the celebration of 150th anniversary of college football between Michigan and Notre Dame. The booking window will be open from October 15. The stay will be available for $150 a night for two people on dates from 22-24 October.

The stay will be on land

The Goodyear blimp will be parked at a hanger which is near the Goodyear HQ in Akron, Ohio. It will have a bed, a couch, two chairs, some tables and various other accouterments. There will be a private football lounge with a television where the guests will be able to watch college football games. It will also have an open bar for the guests to enjoy a few drinks. The guests won't be permitted to leave the property during their complete stay. They can, however, roam around in nearby locations such as the Wingfoot Lake.

Goodyear posted on Twitter

The official Twitter account of Goodyear Blimp posted the information about the deal on October 8. The tyre company along with Airbnb is offering a once in a lifetime opportunity for its fans. A link of Airbnb where there is more information was posted along with the picture of luxury inside the blimp. In another tweet, the company wrote that they are giving away free VIP trips in their blimp to winners. Twitter users have shown disappointment over the blimp being standing in the hanger during the stay instead of flying.
