'Never say never': Hillary Clinton on standing in US Presidential elections

The 2016 Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton said 'never say never' about standing against Donald Trump in 2020 and did not rule out its possibility on Nov 12

The 2016 Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton said 'never say never' about standing against Donald Trump in 2020. In an interview with international media on November 12 when Clinton was asked if she might make a 'last-minute' registration, she refused to rule out the possibility and acknowledged that it is 'way past' the deadline. However, Clinton also admitted that she thinks 'all the time' about what would happen if she had beaten the current President, Donald Trump and what would be different. The former secretary of state further said whoever wins the upcoming elections in the US will have a 'big task' to mend everything that has been 'broken'.

Clinton is pressured

In the same interview, the former First Lady revealed that she is being pressurized to stand for the President of the US which will also be Clinton's third White House campaign. However, she did not reveal who was pressuring her. The deadline for filing for Alabama expired last week, and Clinton's former political heartland, Arkansas stopped filing on Tuesday. Now nearly 14 states will vote on 'Super Tuesday' in March 2020 will have filing deadlines next month. Reportedly, there are political rumors about the possibility of the 2016 democratic nominee to be in the race of White House.  In October, President Trump challenged Clinton to stand as a candidate in elections to which the former secretary of State replied saying, 'Don't tempt me. Do your job'.

Clinton accuses Trump of 'betrayal'

Former Secretary of the United States Hillary Clinton said that she supports the formal impeachment inquiry launched against Donald Trump saying that the US President has betrayed the country and is a "clear and present" danger. US 2016 Presidential candidate's tweets came after Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's announcement of launching a formal impeachment inquiry. Hillary Clinton in an interview with an international news outlet called it an 'emergency.' Clinton also called the US President "a reckless, corrupt human tornado" further stating that the President was undermining the more perfect union.
