Man does maternity photo-shoot to brighten wife's mood

A man from Kentucky replaced his pregnant wife to take maternity pictures as she couldn’t attend the photoshoot for being under complete bed rest for six weeks. Kelsey Brewer, the would-be-mother was upset as she had to cancel the photoshoot after getting placed under bed rest ahead of the maternity photoshoot week. Jared Brewer, Kelsey’s husband, decided to cheer her up posing in front of the camera himself. Kiana Whitney Smither, the photographer who is also the sister of Kelsey, posted the photos on her Facebook page.

Smither couldn't say no to Jared's request

“When Kelsey got placed on bedrest the week of her maternity pictures she was really disappointed because she was looking forward to having those memories forever..who wouldn’t be?” wrote Smither describing how the incident panned out. “So when her husband texted me wanting to replace her and surprise her with the pictures how could I say no?!” she added. Smither said that the photographs cheered up Kelsey and brighten her mood completely.

'Life of the Brewers'

Kelsey, sharing the post from her facebook page ‘Life of the Brewers’, wrote that saying ‘I am blessed’ felt like a total understatement. She said that being place under bed rest for more than weeks before the due date was not ideal. “HOWEVER, being surrounded by the most amazing support system and having SO. MANY. PEOPLE. That are willing and able to step up to the plate to accomplish all of the things you had planned on finishing before the arrival of our sweet boy is the most amazing feeling!” she wrote. “My husband has been a total rock through this whole process and even managed to get with my sister to take these AMAZING PHOTOS! That I will literally cherish for the rest of my life!!” she added.

Hilarious as well as heartwarming reactions

There were hilarious reactions on Smither’s Facebook post which has been shared more than 45,000 times. “He really did the whole shoot!!! Thats so sweet!!! My husband just would have been happy we didnt have to spend the money,” commented a user. “I don’t know this couple but as a wedding planner I could only wish to have had them as clients. They are making lemonade out of the lemons that is mandatory bed rest and I hope they are blessed with a healthy child,” wrote another user.
