The Arizona National Guard is helping food banks in northern Arizona pack and distribute food to people who may not be able to afford it during the coronavirus pandemic.

Guard soldiers packed food into bags at a Flagstaff food bank and helped deliver the items to the front door of residents and helped others who came to the food bank to pick up groceries.

The new coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms for most people, but for some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness or death.
