Drivers on a busy Washington street were in for a shock when a small plane landed on the road on August 1.

The incident was captured by a police patrol vehicle's dashcam. The footage shows the cop patrolling the street when one of them saw a single-propeller KR2 aircraft attempting an emergency landing on a street in Parkland City, south of Tacoma. Watch the video here:

However, the aircraft landed properly without causing any serious mishap. Even so, it was too close and meters away from hitting other cars. The plane landed right before an intersection and during the traffic break. Other drivers on the street can be seen slowing down their vehicles to avoid a major accident. As soon as the aircraft landed, the cop took a U-turn and approached the aircraft. He further knocked on the cockpit door and followed the standard procedure and asked the pilot for his papers:

"License and Registration please. Let's move this out of the way."

Later, the pilot and the cop pulled over the plane in parking lot to ensure that it does not affect the traffic. As per reports, the pilot was forced to land the aircraft on the streets because of a fuel malfunction in mid-air.

Talking about landings, a video went viral earlier on July 17 where a plane makes an extremely low landing at the Skiathos Airport. The video was uploaded on YouTube by a popular channel 'Cargospotter' and shows a British Airways Embraer E190 going past spectators. It's no surprise that some of the spectators were forced to duck for cover. As per reports, one couple was even 'pushed off' a ledge by the massive thrust of the jet engines. The Skiathos Airport in Greece is commonly known as 'Europe's St Maarten' due to its low landing location. The airport is right beside a beach which attracts quite some adrenaline-junkie tourists who stand up to click selfies with planes that fly overhead.

Ever since the video surfaced online, it has garnered over 2 million views and hundreds of comments from spectators who were definitely shaken.
