Bernie Sanders sat down with talk show host Seth Meyers Tuesday to discuss his path to the democratic nomination for president, and how Donald Trump has handled the coronavirus pandemic.

"There is a path," Sanders said, "it is admittedly a narrow path.

"We have a strong grassroots movement who believe that we have got to stay in in order to continue the fight."

Sanders told the late night talk show host he wasn't "a great fan" of the format of the debates so far.

"I think when you're given seventy five seconds or forty five seconds to respond to a question, often a complicated question, it's very, very difficult to do that."

Sanders said the last debate between himself and Former Vice President Joe Biden "gave us a little bit more time."

The senator from Vermont suggested loosening up on the debate structure "to allow for more interchange."

Sanders went on to say that if he was not the nominee he would "do everything I can" to see that Joe Biden is elected.

"It is absolutely imperative that we defeat Donald Trump, who in my view is the most dangerous president in the modern history of this country. And we're seeing just how dangerous he is with all of the misinformation that he is providing during this coronavirus pandemic."
