Trump Jr's book 'Triggered' is No.1 New York Time bestseller

Donald Trump Jr recently authored a book, Triggered: How the Left thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us, which is now the number-one New York Times bestseller. The book came out last week and tops the hardcover nonfiction list that will reportedly appear in the November edition of the Times. The book has also placed high on the weekly report. According to the international reports Triggered has sold approximately 71,000 copies last week, however, NPD could not determine how many of those sales were bulk sales. 

In the book, the American President's son defends his father from people against him and criticised the media and his father's opponents in the political sphere including Hilary Clinton. The book has been published by Centre Street, known for publishing conservative books. Trump Jr. has dedicated the book to the "deplorable", a clear shot at Hilary Clinton, who had used the word to describe the people supporting Trump during the 2016 US Presidential campaign.

Trump Jr. accuses social media outlets

Known for his attacks on local media outlets, Trump Jr. accused social media platforms of censoring him and other conservatives. He criticised the media outlets in his book by stating that the censoring and banning of his comments were a direct violation of the freedom of speech and added that it was a problem that should be fanned and allowed in America, taking a dig at social media giants such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Trump Jr. stated that he may one day run for office. He added that till the time his father had told them about his decision to run for President, he had not even considered entering the political sphere. He said that his primary focus is to win the 2020 Presidential elections for his father in order for Donald Trump to become the US President for the second time.
