Trump says he had 'warm' conversation with Biden

When a reporter asked if Biden had any suggestions for the president on how to deal with the outbreak, Trump said he did."Well, he had suggestions. It doesn't mean I agreed with those suggestions.

President Donald Trump on Monday said he had a "warm" conversation with former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on tackling the new coronavirus.

When a reporter asked if Biden had any suggestions for the president on how to deal with the outbreak, Trump said he did."Well, he had suggestions. It doesn't mean I agreed with those suggestions. But certainly he had suggestions," Trump said, "I also told him some of the things we are doing. But the conversation was a very friendly conversation."

Trump also touted the end of a dispute with US manufacturer 3M to supply millions of masks to medical professionals on the front lines of the fight against the virus.The president said the company had agreed to deliver an additional 55.5 million masks each month.Trump had invoked the Korean War-era Defense Production Act to prevent 3M from exporting masks abroad.
