US students attend graduation ceremony in racetrack

The graduation ceremony for more than 250 students from a Las Vegas high school was a held at a speedway racetrack on Friday.

Staff at the Faith Lutheran High School decided to take alternative to the traditional graduation ceremony, with many schools forced to cancel their events due to the global coronavirus pandemic.

The 256 seniors received their diplomas in their cars with families, before taking a victory lap around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway racetrack.

The students donned their graduation gowns and were able to hear the graduation address and the speech from the class valedictorian through their car radios.
