WATCH: Skunk becomes symbol of evils of littering after getting its head stuck in a beer can, rescued and set free

On Wednesday, a skunk had unfortunately gotten its head stuck in a discarded aluminium beer can in Billerica, Massachusetts (USA). Animal control officers in Billerica had rescued the critter which was wandering about stuck, and had uploaded a picture of the skunk’s bizarre predicament on Twitter saying:

Billerica Police had said that the rescued skunk had been taken to Tufts Wildlife Clinic in North Grafton. Veterinarians at the clinic have said that they plan to sedate the skunk before extricating his head from his aluminium nightmare. After that, they have planned to keep the skunk under observation before releasing him in the wild.
