US: Body stuffed in freezer found by out-of-town family
On December 22, family members discovered a deceased individual in the freezer of a residence in San Diego, as reported by the San Diego Police Department.

Family members from out of town promptly contacted the San Diego Police Department upon discovering the body in a residence on Zion Avenue around 11:45 am (7:45 pm UK time) on Saturday.
Police indicated that the body is presumed to be female but emphasized that no additional physical details would be confirmed until an official identification can be established. Due to the "unusual location" of the body's discovery, the SDPD summoned its homicide unit to conduct an investigation.
Given the condition of the body, the department stated that the cause of death remained unknown, and it was uncertain whether any traumatic injuries were involved. The medical examiner's office was actively working to ascertain the cause of death.
Detectives are continuing to gather information to understand what happened and why the body was inside the freezer," said police.
