China eases visa requirements for US travellers


China has announced a relaxation of visa regulations for visitors from the United States, aiming to stimulate international tourism as the country continues its border reopening efforts.

Effective from January 1, American tourists will no longer be obligated to furnish round-trip air tickets, hotel reservations, itineraries, or formal invitations when applying for Chinese visas.
