What Happened at Chandigarh Airport?

The incident occurred at the Security Hold Area (SHA) during a security check when Kangana Ranaut was attended to by CISF constable Kulwinder Kaur. Following the frisking process, a verbal altercation broke out, leading to Kaur slapping Ranaut. Kaur later explained that she was provoked by derogatory remarks Ranaut had made about Punjabi women during the farmers' agitation against the three farm laws.

Kangana Ranaut has announced her intention to file a complaint with the Home Ministry in Delhi. Despite the incident, she boarded her flight, which departed at 4:10 PM. Meanwhile, Kulwinder Kaur is under the supervision of the CISF commandant as the investigation continues.

Kangana Issues Statement

Ranaut, who issued the statement after landing in Delhi, recounted the event, stating that the constable approached her from the side, hit her on the face, and began abusing her. When Ranaut asked for an explanation, Kaur reportedly said she supported the farmers' protests.
