While Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt and several others reprise their roles in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2, many new cast members join the sequel. 

Udaybir Sandhu appears in the role of Pinda, Jaskirat's childhood friend turned drug lord. His 6-word dialogue foreshadowing the interval was arguably the peak of the first part of the movie.

Salim Sidiqui appeared in the role of Atif Ahmed, a wanted criminal in Uttar Pradesh working closely with Pakistan's Major Iqbal. The character is based on gangster Atiq Ahmed. 

The biggest reveal of Dhurandhar 2 was the identity of ‘Bade Sahab’. Danish Iqbal appears in the role of Dawood Ibrahim in the movie's sequel.

After months of speculation, the reports of Yami being a part of Dhurandhar 2 proved to be true. She appeared in a small cameo as Shazia Bano, a medical specialist helping Hamza Mazari. 

Jaskirat Singh Rangi is shown to have two sisters in Dhurandhar 2. The actress joined the movie's cast as Jasleen, who was captured and raped by a local MLA. She eventually married Pinda. 

Hitika Bali essayed the role of Jaskirat's older sister Harleen. 

Mashhoor Amrohi appeared in the brief role based on Nawaz Sharif. He is shown as the leader of the MMP. 

The Kohhra fame essays the role of Brigadier Jahangir, Major Iqbal’s father, who is bitter-tongued. His interactions with Iqbal justify the latter's hatred towards India.  

Aditya Uppal joins the Dhurandhar 2 cast as ASP Omar Haider, a special officer of Aslam's Layari Task Force. In a post-credit scene, he is sent to a mental asylum for threatening to expose Shamshad.
