Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming Hindi film, Homebound, is India’s official entry to the Oscars 2026.

For the special screening of Homebound, Janhvi wore a blue and black saree with golden embroidery.

Roohi actress honoured her mother, the late Sridevi, by wearing the garment from her wardrobe.

Sridevi wore the saree for the first time in 2017, and Manish Malhotra designed it for her.

Many fans get emotional to see a full circle of Janhvi wearing her mom's saree.

Homebound will be releasing in theatres on September 26.
