Kareena Kapoor stunned in a deep maroon saree on the IIFA 2025 green carpet. 

The actress donned an archival Tarun Tahiliani saree for the occasion.

As per Tarun Tahiliani's design, the outfit is a revival of a 2008 archival piece reimagined for today while retaining its timeless essence. 

The designer mentioned, "The Bidri-inspired embroidery, enriched with exquisite dabka and nakshi detailing, pays homage to heritage craftsmanship.:

He added, “The ensemble takes the classic sculpted saree corset and amalgamates it with the drape of a fluid textile cape, striking a balance between

…structure and softness. A true expression of India Modern—where the past is not just remembered but brought to life with contemporary relevance."
