Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has been on a break from acting since July 2023, is set to return to work in 2024 with a focus on her career and health. The actress shared the same on her Instagram broadcast channel on Wednesday, January 3. The Kushi actress had taken the break to focus on her health following her diagnosis with the autoimmune disease myositis and made special appearances via brand shoots.
Making her debut on Instagram's broadcast channel, Samantha's first message to fans was that she is returning to acting with a bang. In her note, she shared that she is looking forward to surrounding herself with people who inspire her and make sure that everything she does is "focused on growth".
She started her note by informing her fans about New Year's Eve, it was "low key, calm and relaxed... much like I want the year to be." The actress added, "This year the focus is going to be on health, getting back to work, surrounding myself by people who inspire me, and making sure that everything I do is focused on growth and growth alone!"
After reading this post, the actress seems all pumped up to get behind the camera and do her magic. The actress has also shared a photo, in which, she is sitting on a chair with a hat on her head and looking all charming. At the corner of her eye, we can see a tiny heart painted in white.
Taking to Instagram, the 36-year-old actress shared a photo of herself standing beside a beach in the cream colour, backless Jacquemus dress. The skyrockets in the background add glam to the photo. She captioned the note as, "And may many angels surround us. Happy New Year."
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress starred in two films, Shaakuntalam and Kushi, in 2023 and they didn't do well at the box office. This year, the actress will be seen in the Indian version of Citadel, co-starring Varun Dhawan.
