French video game publisher Ubisoft will de-list the online-only racing game The Crew, with the game off its servers in March next year, reports suggested.

Ubisoft is parent to legacy games like Assassins Creed and Prince of Persia.

Ubisoft is already winding down post-launch support for the title, and the game is no longer available for purchase on the company website and Valve's digital storefront.

Imagine Games Network (IGN) reviewed the game, which also has franchises The Crew 2 (2018) and The Crew Motorfest released in September this year.

"The Crew is truly massive and packed with racing but it's let down by its dated appearance and frustrating AI," the review noted.

The Crew has also been taken off digital versions of Xbox and PlayStation, though the Xbox version mentions the game’s availability on Ubisoft+, the company’s subscription service.
