Republic TV has accessed the death certificate of Bollywood actor Sridevi:

The medical certificate released by Dubai's Ministry of Health had stated that Sridevi died from "Accidental Drowning" after losing her balance and falling into the bathtub. Her body has reportedly been released for embalming.

“The investigation is still going on to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident as the forensic report only says that she drowned,” an official has said to Gulf News

The date of death has been listed as February 24, i.e. Saturday. Sources had confirmed to Republic TV that Sridevi hadn't left the hotel room for 2-3 days before she had died.

It is unknown at this point at what time the mortal remains of Sridevi will be released to be brought back to India. Anil Ambani's private jet is to bring back her mortal remains and the last rites are expected to take place in Mumbai. A number of important persons from the industry are slated to attend.

In news that had shocked the nation, Sridevi had been found dead in her room in Dubai where she had gone to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding.

Sridevi made her Bollywood debut in 1978 with ‘Solva Sawan’, but it was only five years later with Jeetendra-starrer ‘Himmatwala’ that she gained commercial success. After starring in many hit films she took a break from acting for 15 years after starring in 1997's ‘Judaai’. She marked her return to the industry in 2012 with director Gauri Shinde's ‘English Vinglish’. In 2017, Sridevi starred a revenge drama 'Mom' which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. She also shot for a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film ‘Zero’ which is scheduled to releases this December.
