Kia launched the fourth generation of Carnival Limousine in India at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a 2.2-litre diesel engine and a single variant.

Kia Carnival launched: Kia India launched the Carnival facelift at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India today. Kia Carnival first arrived in India in 2020. After four years of being in the market, Kia today introduced the fourth generation of the MPV in the Indian market. The Kia Carnival has two colour options and it comes in a single diesel engine variant. The MPV comes via the CBU route and the local production will commence shortly. It offers three-zone climate control, dual sunroofs, ventilated seats for first and middle rows to name a few.

Kia Carnival price:

The fourth generation of Kia Carnival starts at Rs 63.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.

Kia Carnival exterior design:

The exterior design of the Kia Carnival is fresh and modern. The front gets LED headlights which integrate into the grill. The vertical design of the headlights provides a sporty element and the throw of the headlight is decent. The Carnival runs on 18-inch alloy wheels and comes with all four disc brakes. There are various ways to operate the rear sliding doors. The rear sliding doors can be opened via the key, have a dedicated button for the driver, or by pulling the door handle once.

The Kia Carnival measures 5,115mm in length, 1,985 mm in width, and 1,755 mm in height. The long wheelbase and the length results in more space in the cabin.

The rear of the Carnival comes with a powered tailgate function and the front design is continued at the rear. It gets connected LED DRLs and LED headlights and defoggers as well.

Kia Carnival interior design:

The interiors of the Kia Carnival are fresh and updated. Now this MPV comes with dual 10.3-inch curved screens, one for the instrument cluster, and an infotainment system. The seats are comfortable and the leather upholstery feels premium. There is ample storage space for cups and other necessary items. Since the Carnival is offered with a captain seat option only, the interior ambiance feels airy, and third-row seats don’t feel claustrophobic.

Kia Carnival features:

The Kia Carnival comes with a comprehensive set of features. For starters, it has dual electric sunroofs, front and middle-row ventilated seats, electrically adjustable powered seats for the front and the middle row, a wireless charger, and more. Additionally, it also comes with Level-2 ADAS functions, such as blind spot assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning alert, etc.

For safety, the Kia Carnival comes with eight airbags, 360-degree parking camera, ABS with EBD, and front and rear parking sensors among others.

Kia Carnival engine specifications:

The Kia Carnival comes with a single diesel engine option. It is powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which churns out 190 BHP and 440 Nm torque, mated to an eight-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
