BMW M340i xDrive launched: Price in India, Features, And Engine Specifications

BMW M340i launched: BMW Group India launched the updated version of the M340i xDrive in India, at RS 74.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The M340i is powered by a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder turbo petrol engine, and the sedan is equipped with an M Sport exhaust unit. The company claims that the 0-100 km/h sprint time of the M340i is 4.4 seconds, and calls it the fastest BMW and ICE-powered car produced in India. The sedan is locally produced at Chennai's manufacturing facility. With this update, the M340i is equipped with M adaptive suspension, which would offer better ride quality.

BMW M340i Price and Colours: 

The price of the updated version of BMW M340i xDrive starts at Rs 74.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in a single version and two new colour options are added in this update. The M340i is now available in Arctic Race Blue and Fire Red shades.

BMW M340i Exterior: 

The exterior design of the BMW M340i xDrive remains unchanged. The front gets sporty aesthetics with LED DRLs and LED headlamps. From the side, the silhouette is the same as the regular 3 Series and it runs on 19-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, L-shaped LED taillights and get body coloured rear spoiler. 

BMW M340i Interiors: 

The interiors of the BMW M340i xDrive are revised. The seats get M-stitching with genuine leather upholstery. The curved display on offer is also updated with the new OS 8.5. Rest, the interiors remain unchanged, giving a luxurious appeal with sporty character. 

BMW M340i Engine Specifications: 

The main core of the BMW M340i is the engine. The BMW M340i xDrive is powered by a 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which produces 374 BHP and 500 Nm torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. 

BMW M340i Suspensions: 

The new M Adaptive Suspensions on the BMW M340i offer better ride quality. It can lower the ride height by 10mm, which the company claims helps in a better driving experience.
