Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 variant-wise price revealed: starts at Rs 18.79 lakh
Mahindra revealed the price of Thar Roxx 4x4 variants in India, starting at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the MX5 variant and going to Rs 22.49 lakh for AX7L.
Thar Roxx 4x4 price revealed: Mahindra recently launched the Thar Roxx in India. Now, almost a month-and-a-half after the launch, it has revealed the prices of the 4x4 variants of the Thar Roxx in the country. The Thar Roxx 4x4 starts at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the MX5 variant. The 4x4 variants are offered in the diesel engine only unlike the Thar three-door version which has a petrol engine as well for the 4X4 option. Since Mahindra launched the 4x4 variants in the diesel engine option, there is a possibility of petrol variants getting 4x4 options in the future. Let us look at the variant-wise pricing of the Thar Roxx 4x4.
Mahindra Thar ROXX 4x4 variant-wise pricing:
The prices of the Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 variant are as follows:
- Mahindra Thar Roxx MX5 MT, starting at Rs 18.79 Lakh (ex-showroom)
- Mahindra Thar Roxx AX5L AT, starting at Rs 20.99 Lakh (ex-showroom)
- Mahindra Thar Roxx AX7L MT, starting at Rs 20.99 Lakh (ex-showroom)
- Mahindra Thar Roxx AX7L AT, starting at Rs 22.49 Lakh (ex-showroom)
Since the 4X4 options start from the MX5 variant. The MX1 and the MX3 variant are available with the RWD variant option only. The AX3L variant misses the 4x4 variant. In addition to the MX5 variant, the AX5L is the only variant available with a diesel automatic transmission.
Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 hardware specifications:
The Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 comes with brake locking differentials and electronic braking differentials, CrawlSmart Assist, and terrain modes (Snow, Sand, and Mud). It has a water-wading depth of 650mm, driving modes (Zip and Zoom), and a second-generation adventure statistics display for Compass and Roll and Pitch Altimeter.
Mahindra Thar Roxx 4x4 diesel engine specifications:
The Thar Roxx is powered by a 2.2-litre inline four-cylinder diesel engine, that churns out 153 BHP and 330 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The automatic transmission option gets a higher state of tune. The engine produces 175 BHP and 370 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
