Mahindra to Hyundai: Top 5 Carmakers with Highest Sales in February 2025
In February 2025, Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 1.60 lakh units and stood at first position, followed by Hyundai Motor India, and other automakers.

Car Sales in February 2025: The Indian automotive manufacturers recorded a decent momentum from customers in February 2025. Several automakers like Kia India, Mahindra, and Tata Motors launched special editions of their cars to attract more buyers during this period. Tata Motors launched the Harrier/Safari Stealth Edition, Mahindra launched the Scorpio N Carbon Edition, and more.
In February 2025, Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 1.60 lakh units and stood at first position, followed by Hyundai Motor India, and other automakers.

Maruti Suzuki: Growth of 0.32% YoY
Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 1,60,791 units in February 2025, having a marginal surge of 0.32 per cent on a year-on-year basis, by having a growth of 520 units as compared to February 2024. As compared to January 2025, Maruti Suzuki recorded a decline of 7.38 per cent and fell short by 12,808 units.

Mahindra & Mahindra: Growth of 19%
The third position on the list was secured by Mahindra Automotive. The company recorded total dispatches of 50,420 vehicles in the domestic market and saw a surge of 19 per cent on a year-on-year basis as compared to February 2024, when Mahindra sold 42,401 units.
As compared to January 2025, the automaker registered a small decline of 0.47 per cent, falling short of 239 units in February 2025.

Hyundai Motors: Decline of 4.93%
The next automaker on the list is Hyundai Motor India, which announced that the company saw its total vehicle dispatches a decline of 3 per cent on a year-on-year basis. The automaker recorded sales of 47,727 units in February 2025, as compared to 60,501 units in February last year.
Tata Motors: Decline of 9.43%
The fourth automaker on the list is Tata Motors. The Indian automaker recorded the total vehicle dispatches of 46,435 units in February 2025, having a decline of 9.43 per cent on a year-on-year basis, by falling short of 4,832 units.
Kia India: Growth of 23.89%
Kia India recorded total sales of 25,026 units in February 2025, and stood at the fifth position on the sales chart. The auto manufacturer recorded a surge of 23.89 per cent on a year-on-year basis, having a growth of 4,826 units.
