MG Hector Snowstorm Edition launched at Rs 21.52 lakh in India

New edition in MG Hector: JSW MG Motors India launched the Hector Snowstorm Edition at Rs 21.52 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The MG Hector comes in a petrol and a diesel engine options and five, six, and seven-seater configuration options. It offers a comprehensive set of features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 14.6-inch infotainment system, and wireless charging among others. Earlier the Hector was available only in the Blackstorm Edition but now there is a Snowstorm Edition available as well. The MG Hector competes against the Tata Harrier/Safari, Mahindra XUV 700, Scorpio N, and Hyundai Alcazar in the segment.

In addition to launching the MG Hector Snowstorm, MG Motor India also launched the 2024 MG Astor Blackstorm Edition in India. It starts at Rs 13.44 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in the select variant only. It is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and is offered with two transmission options.

Hector Snowstorm Edition key changes:

The Hector Snowstorm Edition is based on the white colour of the SUV. The Snowstorm Edition gets dual-tone paint scheme with dark chrome accents on various parts. The 18-inch alloy wheels offered on the Hector get red-coloured contrasted disc brake callipers.

The interiors of the Hector Snowstorm Edition get updated colour theme in the cabin. The Hector Snowstorm Edition is offered with gunmetal accents on the dashboard and features the same 14-inch infotainment system and panoramic sunroof.

Hector Snowstorm Edition engine specifications:

The MG Hector Snowstorm Edition is available in both a 1.5-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 143 BHP and 250 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed manual and a CVT transmission option. The 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 170 BHP and 350 Nm torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The diesel engine misses an option for automatic transmission.
