Mercedes appoints Amrit Baid as head of marketing, customer experience

Baid, currently part of the Region Overseas Marketing team at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, will take over the role succeeding Pradeep Srinivas.

Mercedes-Benz India announced the appointment of Amrit Baid as the Head of Marketing and Customer Journey, effective February 1, 2024. Baid, currently part of the Region Overseas Marketing team at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia, will take over this role, succeeding Pradeep Srinivas, who transitions to a global role at Mercedes-Benz AG headquarters.

In a statement, Lance Bennett, the Vice President (Sales & Marketing) at Mercedes-Benz India, highlighted Baid's background as a homegrown talent with a track record of orchestrating and executing significant marketing campaigns in India. Bennett emphasised Baid's successful endeavours in optimising digital customer experiences while leading various projects within the region of Overseas Malaysia.

Baid's appointment reflects Mercedes-Benz India's focus on leveraging talent with a deep understanding of the Indian market, aiming to further enhance marketing strategies and customer engagement within the region.
