BEML Share Price: BEML shares rose 2.5 per cent in early trade to a day high of Rs 3366.10 on the BSE on Friday after the business was awarded a Rs 405 crore contract by the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation to manufacture, deliver, and launch standard gauge metro cars.

"we hereby inform that BEML Limited has secured a contract from M/s. Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited for Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Standard Gauge Metro Cars and Training of Personnel including Comprehensive Maintenance up to Fifteen (15) Years under Bengaluru Metro Rail Projects. The value of the contract is approximately Rs 405 Crores and the same is in normal course of business," exchange filings said.

In addition, the stock is up after Motilal Oswal MF bought 2.66 lakh BEML shares at an average price of Rs 3,048.3 each, based on exchange data.

BEML Q3 FY25 Results

BEML's revenue fell by 16.35% year on year in Q3FY25, to Rs 875.77 crore, down from Rs 1,046.97 crore the previous year. For the nine months ending December 2024, BEML's net profit was Rs 4.97 crore, while its operating income was Rs 2,369.69 crore.

The company reported a 49.35% YoY drop in its profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 24.41 crore for the third quarter of FY25. The company’s PAT stood at Rs 48.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
