Infosys posts 4.7% increase in Q2 net profit, raises revenue guidance
The company now anticipates revenue growth between 3.75% and 4.50%, an increase from the previous forecast of 3% to 4%.
Infosys Ltd announced a 4.7 per cent increase in its net profit for the second quarter of the fiscal year, reporting a figure of Rs 6,506 crore for the July-September period. This marks an increase from Rs 6,212 crore during the same quarter last year and represents a 2.2 per cent rise compared to the previous quarter.
The company also saw a 4.2 per cent growth in revenue, reaching Rs 40,986 crore. In a significant move, Infosys raised its revenue guidance for the fiscal year 2024-25 for the second consecutive quarter. The company now anticipates revenue growth between 3.75 per cent and 4.50 per cent, an increase from the previous forecast of 3 per cent to 4 per cent.
This adjustment follows a notable revision in July, when Infosys had initially raised its revenue expectations from a range of 1 per cent to 3 per cent. The broad-based growth has been a key driver for the company's positive performance in the latest quarter.
