Karan Adani announces two major projects in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna, Shivpuri
Adani has also announced two new projects: a 2 MTPA cement grinding unit in Guna and a state-of-the-art propellant production facility in Shivpuri.
Karan Adani at RIC Gwalior: At the 2024 Regional Industrial Conclave held in Gwalior, Karan Adani, CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ, delivered a keynote address announcing major investments in Madhya Pradesh.
Adani conglomerate has already invested Rs 18,250 crore in the state, creating 12,000 jobs across various sectors including cement, defence, road infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Addressing the gathering of industry leaders, Adani lauded the transformational journey of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighting the role of Jyotiraditya Scindia in the emerging civil aviation sector.
Adani has also announced two new projects: a 2 MTPA cement grinding unit in Guna and a state-of-the-art propellant production facility in Shivpuri.
The projects with a total investment of Rs 3,500 crore, are expected to generate over 3,500 direct and indirect jobs. The Shivpuri facility, in particular aims to boost the country’s defence manufacturing capabilities.
“Through the Adani Foundation, we have impacted 80,000 households and touched 3 lakh lives across Madhya Pradesh through our healthcare, education, sustainable livelihoods and women empowerment initiatives,” said Adani.
Adani also announced that the Adani Foundation will establish a jacket production centre in Badarwas, entirely operated by women as part of their women empowerment initiative. This project is expected to benefit numerous families in the region.
Adani also expressed optimism about the future of Madhya Pradesh, praising the state’s leadership. He said, “You are transforming Madhya Pradesh into our nation’s Mukhya Pradesh. And the Adani group is deeply committed to playing a small role in this journey.”
