Olectra Greentech rises 3% after getting $7.5 million electric bus supply order

Shares of Electric Vehicles (EV) manufacturer Olectra Greentech soared as much as 3.14 per cent to hit an intraday high of Rs 1,272.60 per share, after securing 40 electric buses order worth Rs 63 crore.
Notably, the shares have climbed approximately 140 per cent this year to date (YTD).
Olectra Greentech on Friday said that it has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation, Mumbai for supply and maintenance of 40 electric buses.
In an exchange filing, the company said, “This order for supply of 40 electric buses is on an outright sale basis and which shall be delivered over a period of 7 months.”

The 40 electric buses are worth Rs 62.80 crore.
As of 11:23 am, shares of the company were trading a little over 1 per cent higher at Rs 246.45 per share.

The share’s 52-week high is Rs 1,465, while its 52-week low is Rs 374.35 apiece.
