Jubilant Foods, the operator of Domino’s in India, is working on strategies to expand the pizza chain to 3,000 stores over the next three years. India's largest foodservice company will also ramp up its Popeyes outlets to around 250, focusing on tier 11 and tier-II cities, CEO Sameer Khetarpal said.
At present, Jubilant runs about 2,100 Domino’s stores, making it the second-largest global market for the brand. Popeyes, with 60 stores, will see an addition of another 50 outfits.
The Noida-based firm also operates Dunkin’ and Hong’s Kitchen, with around 30 outlets each. For Domino’s, 70 percent of orders come from home delivery via apps and online platforms.
Despite food inflation, Jubilant has kept its pricing steady and sees strong customer demand.
Additionally, Jubilant has launched "Elate," India's first Android-based Point of Sale (POS) system, to enhance order management in the food industry. (With Inputs from PTI)
