Reddit launches contributor program to reward creators, here’s how to participate

Reddit contributor program:  To reward its active contributors, Reddit has introduced the Contributor Program, allowing qualifying Redditors, including subreddit moderators, to earn real money for their content and contributions on the platform.

According to Similarweb, Reddit is the fourth most used social media platform across the world with more than 1.9 billion monthly visits. The majority of the Reddit user base is concentrated in the United States followed by the UK, Canada, Australia, and Germany. 

Informing the community about the details of participation in the Reddit contributors’ program, the company stated that it requires meeting specific eligibility criteria and undergoing a verification process, including being 18 years or older, residing in a supported location (initially United States), and maintaining a Reddit account in good standing, among other factors.

Redditors participating in the program can earn money based on their eligible contributions. The earnings from the program will be calculated by considering the amount of karma and gold received for these contributions. Reddit karma are the points that users collect when other Reddit users react to their posts and comments such as like on Instagram. 

Payments of the revenue earned will be disbursed monthly to enrolled Redditors.

• Log in with your existing account or sign up to create a new one
• Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria (age, location, account status)

• Once approved, contribute and earn based on karma and gold.
