Odisha government approves seven projects worth Rs 1482.53 crore

The Odisha government greenlit seven industrial ventures, attracting a total investment of Rs 1,482.53 crore and paving the way for the generation of over 11,500 jobs.

Under the leadership of Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) sanctioned these projects across various districts including Khurda, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Balasore, and Rayagada, according to an official statement.
Tech AIC DRI Pellets Pvt Ltd secured approval to construct a steel manufacturing facility in Keonjhar district, earmarking an investment of Rs 800 crore. Similarly, MAS Udyat India Pvt Ltd received clearance to launch an integrated textile plant with a capital outlay of Rs 214.40 crore in the Khurda district.
Furthermore, Alenn Steel Industries Pvt Ltd is set to invest Rs 178 crore in a cold rolled precision pipes manufacturing facility in Kalinganagar, Jajpur district. Additionally, Reliance Bio Energy Ltd's proposal for a Rs 121.21 crore compressed biogas and organic manure plant in the Balasore district also received a government nod.

The approved projects also encompass proposals from Vinner Labs Pvt Ltd (Rs 52 crore), MR Unicast Pvt Ltd (Rs 56.32 crore), and Terrestrial Food Processors Pvt Ltd (Rs 60.6 crore), as outlined in the government statement.
