11th Student Suicide in Kota: Teenage Bihar Boy Preparing for IIT-JEE Found Dead In PG House

A 17-year-old student from Bihar, preparing for the IIT-JEE competitive exam, was found dead by suicide in his room in Kota, Rajasthan, police reported on Sunday. The student, Ayush Jaiswal, hailed from Motihari in Bihar and was residing in a paying guest house near Samrat Chowk in the Mahaveer Nagar area.
Ayush's friends alerted the paying guest house owner when he did not emerge from his room by Saturday night.
"A boy preparing for a competitive exam committed suicide on Saturday night. He was found hanging in his room. No suicide note has been recovered yet. The post-mortem will be conducted after his family members arrive here," said Mahaveer Nagar SHO Mahendra Maru.
The guest house owner contacted the police when Ayush did not respond to repeated knocks on his door.

Upon receiving the report, a police team arrived at the location, broke the door lock, and discovered the student hanging. The police took him to the New Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
This incident marks the 11th student suicide in Kota this year among those preparing for competitive exams.
